Each Pleat shade is folded by hand from one strip of Portuguese linen, one shade a morning. The pleats spread the light so there is no bright spot, only a warm band.
The brass stem runs into a marble base with a felt pad, so it sits quietly on wood. Light goes down onto the table and up onto the wall.
It takes a standard E27 bulb. We ship it with a 2700K filament LED that dims to a whisper.
